Today we present a new weekly event: The GoneFans Poll. Every week (Monday), we’ll ask you a different question, and at the end of the week reveal the results (Friday).
We wanted a new way to connect with you guys, and to know what your thoughts and opinions are in side of the WWOG. (Yes, that stands for Wonderful World of GONE).
This week, the question is: What do you think is the nature of powers in the FAYZ?
Let us know what you think below!

Today, Michael Grant dropped by our very own Gone Fans Chat to meet with fans and discuss the series. He revealed the possible first scene of LIGHT, and the latest info on the possible GONE movie! You can go check out the archive yourself, but we’ve summarized all the best parts here:
GONE is being pitched to studios this week, but Michael Grant hasn’t heard anything else, which according to him is probably bad news.
Some of the people involved with The Hunger Games movie are pitching GONE.
A GONE movie would have to be kept to PG-13, otherwise no deal could be made.
The biggest issue so far in making a GONE movie has not been the violence, or the sex, but Orc smoking, because that would result in an immediate R (since he is underage).
Michael Grant wanted a TV deal but producers are pushing for a movie.
Michael Grant would have basically no input on casting.
Some minor spoilers for LIGHT are below.
Today, Michael Grant posted a video discussing the current status of a possible Gone movie.
As we’ve previously posted before, Gone has gone out to screenwriters, which Michael describes as step 2 or 3 out of a 10 step process.
He also mentions that Gary Ross is interested, something we’ve also covered before.
What’s new is that the former “head of HBO” is also interested, which could mean that a TV series is also a possibility at this point. Either way, it seems like a film adaptation of some sort is a very real possibility!
